“Together with Cevora, we had developed a strong concept, but finding the right way to present the content to our target group turned out to be a job for experts. And with Human Interface Group we certainly found those experts. They understood exactly what we wanted and the communication and collaboration went very smoothly. I would be ready to work with them again any time.”
Steven Baczkowski, Trainer Business Support, VDAB
“The collaboration with Human Interface Group was very professional and efficient. The suggestions they gave us were a clear indication that they had immediately understood our needs. The deadlines were respected without fail, which was very important to us. We’re proud of the result!”
Kristel Cambier, Project leader, Cevora
Salespeople have busy schedules and the app needs to be quick and efficient. They also like challenges and in fact need a good challenge as an incentive.
The new Talent for Sales fulfills the value proposition defined by Cevora and VDAB: they offer practical and efficient support to salespeople on the job, even after their training.

Cevora and VDAB have been working together for years, training job-seekers and helping them find a job. They offer Sales training, for example, but also continue supporting salespeople, even after their training. That is why they developed a web app ‘Talent for Sales’, with practical and useful tips & tricks.
However, the existing app was lacking structure and appeal. The content needed to be optimized and the entire app made more modern and attractive.
Salespeople are confident, assertive, result-oriented, enthusiastic and energetic. They like challenges and in fact need a good challenge as an incentive. Knowing this, we aimed at creating an app that would draw and keep their attention, and motivate them to brush up their skills.
Without a personal login, we couldn’t use the most obvious forms of gamification and progress to motivate the user, like keeping scores and linking to a community. But we found other ways, such as adding badges and rewards to the app for extra motivation.
Because this app is meant for salespeople who want to regularly brush up their skills quickly and in between, on the road or just before a sales appointment, we chose to use a mobile web app.
While rewriting the text, we relied on the usability principle “People process information better in chunks”. No lengthy text but a well-structured content which the user can easily scan through.
And using an exciting, energetic and stimulating language, this app responds perfectly to the needs of active, busy salespeople.
